The short version
We use the information you submit to respond to your tree-service request. Optional Google Analytics and Google Ads technologies help us understand the site and measure calls and quote requests. You can accept, reject or customize those optional technologies at any time. We do not sell personal information for money.
1. Scope and who we are
This policy applies to the Covenant Tree Care website and information collected when you request a quote, call us, email us or interact with this site. “Covenant Tree Care,” “we,” “us” and “our” mean Covenant Tree Care LLC, a tree-service business serving Salisbury, North Carolina and surrounding communities.
This policy does not govern third-party websites or services that have their own privacy notices.
2. Information we collect
Information you provide
- Your name, phone number and optional email address.
- The service you need, property address or service area, project details and any other information you include in a quote request.
- Information you provide during a call, email or other direct communication with us.
Website, advertising and device information
- Pages viewed, referring page, browser and device details, interactions, timestamps, IP address and approximate location inferred from an IP address.
- Advertising and attribution values such as GCLID, GBRAID, WBRAID, UTM parameters, landing page, source page and a randomly generated lead ID when available.
- Call-measurement information associated with Google Ads or website calls, such as the call source, time and duration. We do not state that calls are recorded unless we separately tell you they are.
- Your analytics and advertising consent choices.
We collect some technical information automatically through browser requests, server logs and the optional technologies described below. Google Fonts or other content-delivery providers may receive basic technical request data needed to deliver site assets.
3. How we use information
We may use information to:
- Respond to your inquiry, confirm our service area, prepare an estimate and communicate about requested services.
- Operate, maintain, troubleshoot and secure the website.
- Understand which pages and advertising efforts generate useful calls and quote requests.
- Measure advertising performance, prevent duplicate conversion counts and improve our marketing.
- Maintain business records, enforce our terms, prevent fraud and comply with legal obligations.
Submitting a quote request permits us to contact you about that request. It does not require you to agree to unrelated promotional messages.
4. Cookies, local storage and Google Consent Mode
Cookies are small browser files. Local storage is similar browser-based storage. When you first visit, our consent tool sets optional analytics and advertising storage to “denied.” You may accept all, reject nonessential technologies or choose categories separately. Your selection applies across the site and can be changed through the “Cookie Settings” control.
Google tags load with privacy-protective defaults so they can receive and honor your consent status. When optional storage is denied, Google may receive limited, cookieless technical or consent-status signals used for measurement modeling. Optional analytics or advertising cookies are not granted unless you choose the corresponding category.
| Category | Purpose | Choice and typical duration |
|---|---|---|
| Essential | Stores your privacy selection in local storage under ctc_consent_v1 and operates the consent interface. |
Always active; the saved choice lasts up to 6 months unless you change it or clear browser storage. |
| Analytics | Google Analytics 4 helps us understand site use and interactions such as form starts, errors, calls and completed quote requests. | Optional. Google sets and controls applicable durations after you grant analytics consent. |
| Advertising | Google Ads measures quote requests and eligible calls, preserves ad-click attribution and may support advertising measurement or personalization. | Optional. Google sets and controls applicable durations after you grant advertising consent. |
Google services
We use Google Analytics 4 and Google Ads, including conversion and call measurement. Depending on your choices, Google may process page URL, IP address, browser or device details, consent status, advertising identifiers and interaction data. Learn more in How Google uses information from sites that use its services and the Google Privacy Policy.
You can reopen your choices now by selecting Cookie Settings. Clearing browser storage may cause the banner to appear again.
5. How we disclose information
We may disclose information to:
- Service providers: companies that help host, secure, operate, analyze or advertise the site and process quote requests. These include Google for analytics and advertising measurement and Formspree for website form delivery.
- Professional advisers and authorities: when reasonably necessary for legal compliance, safety, fraud prevention or the protection of rights.
- Business transaction participants: if the business is involved in a merger, sale, financing, reorganization or similar transaction.
Form submissions are sent through Formspree to help deliver your request to us. You can review Formspree’s Privacy Policy and security information.
We do not sell personal information for money. Some privacy laws may define certain advertising measurement or cross-context activity as “sharing” or “targeted advertising.” You can reject the Advertising category through Cookie Settings and contact us with a rights request.
6. Retention, security and location of processing
We keep information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described here, including responding to requests, providing services, maintaining business and tax records, resolving disputes, security and legal compliance. Retention periods vary by record and service provider.
We and our service providers use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards. No website, transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.
Covenant Tree Care operates in the United States. Information may be processed in the United States or other locations where our service providers operate, subject to their applicable safeguards.
